Day 1

Saturday 27th June 2009-morning

My family and I went to chinese school and my brother and I had our term 2 TEST! I think I did VERY WELL! We are going to get our results next term.

Saturday 27 June 2009-night

My mum, dad, brother and I went to my violin teachers Recital at Trinity college chapel to listen to him play!

Day 2

Sunday 28 June 2009-morning

One Sundays mybrother and I always have our swimming lessons and for some reason 28/6/09 for my lesson I was by myself!

Sunday 28 June 2009-afternoon

We had a big shopping afternoon . My family went to many places such as DFO, coles, safeway and many more!

We boght toys, food,cloths and games. I had lots of fun!

Old Diary my friends birthday

On Sunday I went to Nina’s wave pool party! Jasmine, Poppy, Viane, lili, Cencilia, Monique, Emily, Carla, Kaylee, Ella (who is Nina’s sister) and two of her friend’s were invited but Jasmine and Poppy couldn’t come so only 10 people came. When I arrived I gave the Nina’s birthday present to Nina then we all got changed and went in the pool and first then siron went on and then the doors closed because you can’t go in when there are waves. Suddenly all the water shook and I could feel the waves comeing and then it started. It was reallt FUN! Next we went on the play aquicment. It was called Rocky Road! First we had to craw across a blue block and go threw some polls. Then you have to crawin a big tunel and jump out! When I Jumpt out I did a bomb, a pin drop, a spin drop and more! After that we all went on the big water slide as many times as we wanted to but the bad thing is that we have to WAIT in a LINE! It was still FUN though! Then I went home and said bye to Nina! I think it was really FUN and I might have a birthday there one time.

Old Diarys Nic Nacks

This morning Phoebe, Dom and I started a shop called the Nick Nacks. We are selling accessories such as: scrap books, Bookmarks, cards(birthday cards, best friend cards and even love cardsand much more.) Phoebe, Dom and I are making them all hand made. The money we earn will go to the Werribie Open Range Zoo. But first we are going to give the letter to the JSC to say wwe have permission or not. I really hope that we can!

On the holiday my family and I went to Mount Gambia for a holiday. We drove there. On the way we stoped at a shop to eat for a while. When we all finnish we continued our jorney to Mount Gambia. When we arrived I as asleep so they went to the hotel to get our key to our hotel room to stay. It was the morning when I woke up and my brother was watching Sponge Bob Square Pants so I joines him. My parents was deciding what wewere going to do today. We ate Mc donlds for breakfast. Next we went on a tour of blue lake. The tour guide took us to a little tunnel the tunnel led us into a big machine witch the tour guide switched on. Suddenly some water splashed at a few of us and some colours started to come. I saw a bit of red, blue, green and purple, and I relised it was a rainbo. The sun reflected on the rain drops and colours should start to come out. We stayed at the hotel for a few more weeks and one night my brother whatching TV again but I got angry at him because I didn’t get much sleep. The next morning we retured home and I went to sleep again.

Day 5 of Adelaide

This morning we went to the Central Market again just to buy fruits. After we went to the Central Market, we went to Haigh’s Chocolate Factory. The lady there who showed us around was our tour guide. She told us a few secrets about making chocolates, BUT it’s a secret, so I can’t tell you….

Next we went to a German town called Handroff which always reminded me of Gandolf who is a character from “The Hobbits” and “Lord of the Rings”. My family all went to a German restaurant for lunch. The restaurant was called “Tastes of Handroff”. My brother had a crispy chiciken schnitzel with chips & salad. My dad had a super special 6-star sausages with German giant pretzels. My mum shared with my dad because there was a lot of sausages. I had a fresh fried fillet (which is fish) with chips & salad. In the end, my brother got sick, and it was probably from too much Haigh chocolates he ate.

Day 4 of Adelaide

Today, it was a very, very, very stormy – No, sunny, No, Windy, a bit, Rainy, yes, yes ,yes. It was worse and still we went shopping at the Central Market. At the Central Market, you can buy fish, meat, fruits, vegetables, clothes, coffee and other food. It was mostly $3 – $4. I had a hot chocolate with my brother and we got 2 marshmallows.

Day 3 of Adelaide

Today, we went to the Adelaide Zoo. We mainly wanted to come to see the Panda at the zoo.

Funi was the girl Panda; and at the start she was playing and running around. She’s very playful and active.

Wang Wang was the boy Panda. Nearly all of the way to tne end of our visit, he was just eating bamboo leaves and stems.

We must turn off the flash when we took photos of the Pandas.

We also saw many, many more animals.

I loved and will miss the pink Flamingoes because when they first came to the Adelaide Zoo, the year was 1933. At that stage they only came to the Adelaide Zoo. My dad’s dad / grandpa is now 71 years old and turning 72 this year. The Flamingoes must be over 77 years old this year !

For sourvenier, I bought a silver barcelet that had elephants on it. The bracelet also had a torquise stone on each elephant.

Day#2 of Adelaide

I woke up in the morning feeling really good.

Got my jumper ,out the door, I’m going to hit my brother,

before I leave brush my teeth with my new tooth brush

‘cause when I go to the mall, I’m not coming back!

When we got out of the house we went to find a geocach called the futuretive Next we went to the mall to have a look around and it was very big but on the top floor there wasn’t as many shops.

We also went to Glenelg Beach and we also had the biggest ice-creams but my mum and dad didn’t want one so they didn’t get one. My brother had two big scoops of vanilla beans and choc chip mint.

I had the choc chip mint as-well but I didn’t have vanilla beans so instead I had also had two big scoops of cookies and cream.

Day #1

My family and I all went to Adelaide for school holidays.

Day one driving

Ballarat:

We had breakfast at MacDonalds

When to the old jail for the geocach.

The thing we had to find out was the answer witch was…

The years was 196?—198?—I’ve forgotten

Horsham:

We had lunch at Hungry Jacks and when Anders my brother finished his ice-cream he went back to the car and didn’t tell us so we kept waiting and waiting till I had a look in the car and there he was.

Dimdola:

There was a big big old train here and I think it was real. I think it was part of the geocach because he took a photo.

Adelaide:

Next we didn’t stop and so we went to Adelaide. We went right to Adelaide. It took a very very long time and my brother and I played a few games we made up and I also played on my DS. We were going to Adelaide’s four and a half star hotel witch was the Hotel we were staying in.

We got to the hotel at about 8:45 so we were really hungry so we ate at a place called BAZU.

It’s a bit like yum cha and it was a Chinese restaurant. Then we went back to the Hotel and it was double storied We settled down. Next we had bathes. First my brother had a bath then I had a bath with the same water so we don’t wast water. Mum and dad had a shower before we left so the didn’t have a bath.

After that we all brushed our teeth and we all had new tooth brushesand mine was green and it had purple on it for grip.
